Do you want to be a Book Meshuggenah? Currently, membership is capped and full at 18 members, but you are welcome to ask join our waiting list. We are looking for Jewish women who write traditionally published children’s books with Jewish characters and themes, that have a passion to be a resource to the Jewish community and a willingness to take on an existing task — or come up with a new one — that helps our organization go and grow. The Book Meshuggenahs also do regular spotlights on non-Meshuggenah children’s book authors with new and noteworthy books; feel free to let us know if you have a book you want to be considered for this feature. Include title, publication date, publisher, author, illustrator and a brief summary of the book.
